About Lufop

Over the years, Lufop.net has become a reference site for downloading numerous Radars and POIs (Points of Interest) for your GPS. But that’s not all, you will find here a community that will help you and give you numerous tips. There are also several tutorials available on the site. I like to deal with subjects that seem useful to me and thus share my experiences.

The genesis:

When I bought my GPS, a Medion GoPal 5 E4145, I “tinkered” a bit and ended up finding out how to update the radars on POI Warner light. At first, it was a tool for me that quickly became a cumbersome and then I thought it could well serve others! So I opened this site to allow everyone to update radars and other POIs. Subsequently, I developed an application for Android see here (which is no longer maintained today due to lack of time).

You will also find here topics that have nothing to do with GPS such as my experiences with Android or how to back up your website or connect network drives… In short, I try to share what I know or have tested…

The author:

I work in IT, so this site is entirely created in my free time. So please be indulgent and don’t be surprised if I don’t respond or if I take time to respond. Since 2019, I have been assisted by automation and since 2023 by A.I. for the creation of certain content in order to increase the quality and relevance of the information you can find on the site.

Since the end of 2022, I have also been accompanied by Phoenix WP, an SEO consultant who helps me make the site lufop.net known by adjusting and highlighting the content while relying on natural referencing techniques.
