Speed Cam for GPS GARMIN using POILoader

Download the files here for updating Speed Cameras and Safety Zones for Garmin GPS. A tutorial on how to update your Garmin GPS is provided below.

This tutorial uses the method with POILOADER, which is recommended by GARMIN. Midan34 kindly shares his experience with us (thank you!).

Here are the steps to follow for GARMIN GPS:

The procedure is valid for all Garmin POIs (at least for series 660-13XX-14XX, I have not tested other models).

1 – Download Poiloader here:

2 – Install it on your computer

3 – Download the CSV, WAV, and BMP files that you will find here:

4 – Place all the WAV (audio), BMP (image), and CSV (pois) files in the same directory on your computer

5 – Launch Poiloader and follow the tutorial that can be found at this address:

In the tutorial, it is possible to manually adjust the distance at which the GPS should react to the approach of the danger zone

The “Zones de danger France.gpi” file will be found in the POI folder of the GPS.

Note: for the audio files to work, the small software “sox.exe” must be present in the POILOADER folder in your GPS.
