Strict GPS Navman Automatic Radar and Hazard Zone Updates

This step-by-step guide will help you update your automatic radars and hazard zones for your Navman GPS:

Installation:

  1. Unzip the downloaded file to your desktop or any folder
  2. Delete the country files you don’t need (ES for Spain, CH or Switzerland, BE for Belgium, etc.)
  3. Turn on your GPS and connect it to your computer using the USB cable
  4. Launch Desktop SmartST if it doesn’t open automatically when the GPS is connected
  5. Click on Maps (or MAP), then POI Editor (a new window will open)
  6. In POI Editor, click File, then Open
  7. Select one of the CSV files you extracted in step 1; all POIs from the file will appear
  8. Next, click File, then Save to Device
  9. Confirm the options by selecting the image file that matches the category (a .BMP file)

Repeat steps 1 through 9 for each category.

Unplug and restart your GPS. The added POIs should now appear on the screen.
