Download Up-to-Date SpeedCamera Information for Truck Drivers in French roads
Drive Safely with the Latest Radar Updates
Welcome to the Truck Radar Download page, an essential resource for heavy vehicle drivers to stay updated with discriminatory radars in France and soon Europe. Following feedback from several truck drivers and understanding the unique challenges and stakes on the road, our goal is to provide accurate tools and information for safe and compliant driving.
Special GPS Downloads for Heavy Vehicles
Take advantage of our GPS files specially designed for heavy vehicles with consideration of discriminatory radars, initially in France and soon, hopefully, in other countries covered by Lufop. These downloads are free and contain the latest radar data, ensuring compliant and surprise-free driving.
How are the Radar Files for Heavy Vehicles Created?
These files come from the same database as the car radars and motorcycle radars. They are simply reorganized differently based on truck speed limits. Today, most installed radars are discriminatory types (see here the article on discriminatory radars).
The speeds for these radars are adjusted as follows for heavy vehicles:
- 130 speed cameras will be recorded in the file as 90 speed radars for Heavy Vehicles
- 110 and 90 speed cameras will be recorded in the file as 80 speed radars for Heavy Vehicles
- Other speeds remain unchanged.
Currently, I have only included cases for heavy vehicles > 12T. If several of you need it, I can create files for heavy vehicles ≤ 12T.

It is possible to specify if a radar is not discriminatory when needed. Visit the map of discriminatory radars, select the POI and uncheck discriminatory in the radar details.
How to Adapt the Files for My GPS?
Depending on your GPS brand, it may be necessary to adapt these files to convert them into the format your GPS expects. There are several tutorials on the Lufop site for the most commonly used brands:
- Garmin: see on this page how to convert CSV files into Garmin compatible “.POI” heavy vehicle radar files
- TomTom: it is possible, for example, to simply convert CSV files into
